Day in the Life

Transcript

On April 30th, 1846, Wilford Woodruff participated in the dedication of the Nauvoo temple. He wrote in his journal:

“We dedicated the Temple of the Lord built by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, unto His Most Holy name… At the close of the dedication we raised our voices in the united shout of Hosanna to God And the Lamb which entered the Heavens to the joy And consolation of our hearts…  I returned home thankful for the privilege of assisting in the dedication of the Temple of the Lord”

Early temple dedications were just the beginning! Today, there are many temples worldwide! I am grateful for temples because they allow me to make covenants that bring me closer to Jesus Christ, which bring so much peace and relief in my life.

What is one temple blessing you are grateful for?
